From a Guest who was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis
I came to Living Valley Springs on a wing and a prayer in late January 2006. I was desperate and willing to go through any rigorous cleansing process to help me out of the nightmare that I was living in. I need to tell you my story from the beginning before I can tell you what happened to me at Living Valley Springs.
You see, in September 2004 I was diagnosed with probable multiple sclerosis. My neurologist felt my symptoms were grief related due to the grief in my life, but a CT scan revealed lesions on my brain. He advised me to return in 6 months for a follow up scan I said okay in shock, put it all into the too hard basket – and went on with my life. MS was furthest from my mind.
I told him at the time that I felt like a frozen block was inside my chest and stomach. It had begun with sensations like electric shock waves running through my body, from my legs up. My legs were so heavy they felt like cement blocks. Then my arms became heavy and I lost my strength in my right hand to the extreme where I couldn't put a pen in my hand and write my name. My signature looked like a child learning to write. To put gloves on my hands to do the simple task of washing dishes was exhausting and frustrating. I felt like there was a battle going on inside my body.
After 6 months I was shocked to find the lesions still there. This time I felt really angry – at the world, at God. So I did what I had been good at doing, which was ignoring it. That is until 6 months later when the exhaustion was so bad that I could barely get through 2 days work, my body was feeling heavier and I when I was sitting down I needed to use furniture to pull my body up when I wanted to get up. And I pounded on the weight steadily and got up to over 80 kg. And then I got optic neuritis in both eyes and lost my vision for 2 weeks. That was the last straw! I was on my knees by this stage desperate and praying for a miracle. I just couldn't go on living like this! I didn't have a life. I was merely existing!
And then I found Living Valley Springs in Kin Kin, and a book written by an amazing woman named Carmel Eagen who had MS and connected the condition with mercury poisoning and had gone to LVS as her first step to her healing. Carmel's body had healed. I felt like my prayer had been answered.
I did the 10 day cleansing and my body responded immediately. With my increased energy I was able to get up each morning and go for the walks, and then one morning we climbed a mountain. When I got to the top I wanted to cry out – a month ago I could barely get out of bed, and I just climbed a mountain! Thank you! After LVS I went to Eric Davis, a Nutritional Dentist, and had my amalgams removed and have been on a special detox diet since to release the mercury from my body.
It's been 12 months since I left LVS and my life has completely changed. I feel myself getting stronger every day.I feel happy and peaceful on the inside for the first time in many years. My emotions are clearer, I can solve problems quickly and my life is easier. I'm still on the recovery path and have been told it takes about 18 months to heal MS symptoms. The change in my body, mind and spirit and life has been a miracle and I am forever grateful to the earth angels at Living Valley Springs whom, I truly believe put me on the healing path which saved my life. Thank you to Gary Martin and all the wonderful Staff at LVS. I believe you are doing God's work you will always hold a special place in my heart.
